CE marking
The CE marking symbolizes conformity to all the obligations incumbent on manufacturers for the product by virtue of the Community directives providing for its affixing. The CE mark when attached to products is a declaration by the natural or legal person who affixed it or is responsible for affixing it that the product complies with all applicable EU Directives and has completed the appropriate conformity assessment procedures. According to EU legislation, the EU Member States are not allowed to restrict the placing on the market of CE marked products, unless such measures can be justified on the basis of evidence of the non-compliance of the product.
The CE marking must be visible, legible and indelible on each device. Ιf this is not possible, then it should be affixed in accordance with the following order of priority — packaging/instructions for use/warranty certificate.
CE marking is mandatory, including in the product groups shown in the list below:
- Machinery
- Pressure Equipment
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Games
- Electrical equipment
It is the manufacturer’s responsibility to carry out the conformity assessment, set up the technical file containing the product research, the risk assessment, the technical projects, the product identification, the Harmonized Standards List, test and inspection results, the instructions for use, as well as the material certificates.
As a company, we create complete technical files with drawings and product research. In the instructions for use, we draw up three-dimensional explanatory drawings for better understanding and safe use of the product.
